About This Project
This demo was not created for any specific project. It was created to demonstrate to the instructional design team and the primary subject matter experts that the team could design certain modules with the ability for learners to choose an avatar that would represent them and not a generic graphic the designer chooses. The hospital is a dynamic and diverse workforce and all the wonderful ways that people are different should be acknowledged and celebrated. This is one of the easiest ways to make elearning personalized. "What's in it for me?" is so much easier to grasp when you literally recognize yourself on the screen interacting with the learning. Diversity isn't a trend or buzzword and there's no reason we can't show visual representations of cultures, races, religions, disabilities, genders, ages, and all the other ways we identify ourselves.
This demo was created in Articulate Storyline 360 and took approximately 1 hour to develop and about 1 hour to put together all the graphics and sound effects.
